In Indian Cinema, makers look to repeat the hit pair and combination several times. Previously, MG Ramachandran and J. Jayalalitha acted in more than 28 films with each other. In Telugu, Super Star Krishna acted with Vijaya Nirmala in 40 films. He acted with Sridevi, Jayapradha and Jaysudha in more than 25 films each. Jayasudha made a hit pair with Akkineni Nageswara Rao and U. Krishnamraju as well.
ANR – Savitri, ANR – Vani Sree, Sobhan Babu – Vani Sree were also regarded as Hit pairs. In 80’s Chiranjeevi -Radha, Chiranjeevi – Vijayashanthi, Chiranjeevi – Radhika were considered as hit pairs. Then Nagarjuna – Ramyakrishnan and Venkatesh – Soundarya were considered hit pairs. Nandmuri Balakrishna made hit pair with Roja and Vijayashanti in late 80’s and early 90’s.

Now, the actress has signed to join the actor for the third time in K.S. Ravi Kumar’s film and the producer C. Kalyan confirmed this news. As she charges 3.25 crores per movie, she charged even more for this movie too as per the sources. There was news that Tamannah Bhatia signed the movie, but that seems to be false news now. The movie is set to go on floors in August while the Muhurat will be done in last week of June or first week of July.
As per the sources, a 40 day schedule has been planned for the movie in Temple City, Kumbakonam in Tamil Nadu from August. The movie will have a faction backdrop and it is tentatively titled, Jaya Simha. Chirantan Bhatt who composed music for Gautamiputra Satakarni will be composing tunes for the movie too.
